Kazakhstan (Bathroom)

We highly suspected that our hostel is illegally operated as there are no signs at all outside the building, and the building is actually in a housing estate. Sound very dodgy, but it’s actually not. Our “neighbours” are very friendly and speaks pretty good English. People will start to chat with us when they are in the same lift with us.

The shower place is a bit weird though. You can see from the photo, there are no doors for the toilet and they only use a tiny curtain thingy for each shower cubicle. People can see through those gaps actually if they want to, and the bathroom door doesn’t have a lock. For two nights, all three girls actually went to shower together, in case any guy crash in.

This actually reminds me of my secondary school life, when my friends and I went camping and were too scared to go shower alone.
