My friends always posted pictures taken in the flower market in instagram and saying that are really beautiful. So I went there last Sunday, as i finally have some time to do what I want after handing in all those essays. It took us 15mins to walk from old street station to the market. It was super crowded. Sooooo packed. I can barely walk between those stalls. I guess is because that day was mother’s day and everyone are getting some flowers from their mum.
We planned to have lunch there, cause I thought they might have some special cafes there for us to pop in and have a quick lunch. erm.. sadly, they don’t really have any cafes or restaurants. We finally found one at the end of the market. It’s a bar/italian restaurant. Their menu looks really Italian and the price are really affordable. Their pizza and fruit juice are really tasty.
The market is quite small, but the flower pots are really cheap. They closes at around 3 and by that time, you can easily buy 5 small pots of flowers for 5 bucks. no kidding. To be honest, I was quite disappointed. I can find much larger flower market with more varieties in Hong Kong or in Asian countries. But when you compare the price of the flowers in the local flower shop and here. You can’t complain.
(I found that the pictures are quite dark. Anyone can teach me how to capture the flowers in a better method? or make it less dark? Thanks!!)
